Technology
Our Power systems are under development. Currently we have
a small windmill charging milk float batteries and a diesel car connected
to milk float batteries and an inverter for the computers (to be replaced
as soon as it can be afforded with a windmill and solar panels). In the
near future we will be building a combined heat and power unit utilising
locally available forms of renewable energy. These will primarily be wind,
biogas and solar. Water power is not presently being considered except
possibly for power storage as one of the farms main shortages is running
water. We're also looking into Zero Point Energy but have no idea as yet
whether it is a real system or just a myth, experiments are ongoing. A
system of ponds has been constructed and are in the process of establishing
themselves.

We hope in the near future to free ourselves of British Telecom's
clutches and connect to the Internet by the Amateur radio satellite bands.
