This is an ex-Boutsen Aviation aircraft (Yes, the Thierry Boutsen, 10
years racing in a Formula 1 cockpit. Three times Grand Prix winner with the
Willams Formula 1 Team in 1989 and 1990, with 164 starts, 132 World Championship
points, 15 Podiums. Founded Boutsen Aviation in 1996.). The interior was totally
refurbished over a period of 40 days. All the seats were re-foamed and
re-styled, prior to re-covering with leather in two contrasting colours.
The joinery was completely stripped of its grey laminate and was
replaced with a modern burr walnut laminate. Mirrors were installed on the rear
bulkheads and the head-linings replaced with Ultraleather™ (When it comes to
durability and abrasion resistance, Ultraleather™ performs on par with
leather's legendary toughness, but at only ⅓" the weight of natural leather.
Thatís why it flies in premier aircraft all over the world.) A completely new
carpet set was also laid throughout.
