The suplus Biscuits from the Checkpoints at the Marathon were donated to the Woodbridge day Centre and we have recieved a “Thank -You” card from the Manager Elaine Strouts. |

It is said that at the Marathon meeting on May 20th Gordon was using a 2000 year diary when announcing the dates of the next functions ! |

Lynda Cooke has rung Peter Woodruff on her return from Genada stating that the hotel was managed by Leo Garbett who used to have a business in Saxmundham. |

Peter Woodruff has had a very nice letter from Computers International in London with thanks for keeping them up-to-date with his computers that are in Lima. |

The Rotary Club of Woodbridge is holding a Martlesham Creek Walk on Sunday 6th July It is 10k long and will start at the Martlesham Community Hall from 9 to 12 noon. |

We regret that Ralph Tempest is in hospital, having suffered a minor stroke. He is very weak and cannot speak. Our best wishes to him and Daffers (His wife). |

Over £230 was raised at Somerfields on Saturday 24th of May in aid of a Shelter Box to be purchased by the Club. . |
|
We had a very successful day at the marathon with our stall. Making a profit of around £500. The good weather made all the difference as people tended to sit around and get hungry! |
|
We spent an interesting, if rather cold and wet, evening at Minsmere hoping to hear the nightingales for our May meeting, but to no avail as they must have been feeling the cold too. This was followed by a very good supper at the Eels Foot pub. |
|
Our June meeting is the AGM to be held at Diana’s on the 11th. After the business and handover we will have supper. The champagne breakfast , to be held at Janet’s has been put back to later in the year. |
