The Administration Unit is the first thing you see when you enter Old Fox House. The Unit deals with all the work concerning the overall running of the house.
The first thing visitors see is the reception desk, normally staffed by either Christine or Josie. The receptionist is responsible for welcoming members and guests, administering the lunch and attendance sheets, operating the switchboard and dealing with postal and petty cash transactions.
Working on the house's finances also comes within the remit of the Unit, dealing with Petty Cash reimbursement, local order forms and banking and also lunch and snackbar takings. Malcolm, Leo, Barbara and Anne take the awesome responsibility of balancing the books. We also keep a check on an overall budget and takings status.
The Unit is equipped with 4 PC's on which members answer correspondence, Email and type all the documents we use in the house. In addition the unit undertakes tasks using spreadsheets and database software. The Unit also organizes member transport needs and administers paying our volunteer drivers.

As well as the general administration of the Clubhouse, another important function is research and development. The R&D Unit is a sub group within the Administration Unit and is very active in national and international research.
The Unit also houses the Education Unit.
Along with the other two units the Administration Unit forms the basis of Old Fox House's Work ordered day.
